CCENT & CCNA Revisions

Hi,

 

The CCENT & CCNA exams have been revised and the changes will apply August 2016. See here - https://learningnetwork.cisco.com/blogs/community_cafe/2016/05/17/ccna-refresh

 

Anyone who has a CCENT cert on the old system can take ICND 2 exam to upgrade to a CCNA 3 years after the certification date, meaning you can mix and match new and old exams.

I noticed yesterday though Cisco say the deadline is a bit tighter, as Cisco emailed to say I have until September 24 2016 to pass my icnd2 as its changing to include more vpn stuff Edited May 18, 2016 by rich_tech

I am surprised to see the return of RIP and the inclusion of QOS. Previous QOS only appeared at CCIE level!

Yeah as soon as I start trying to attain the cisco certifications they make them a little bit harder again

Be thankful frame relay has gone, it can be quite confusing!

I wouldn't even attempt to take the exams unless you can subnet in 90 seconds.
