Our curriculum year changes at the end of May, so the new timetable is currently being built. How can I restrict access to the new timetable? Staff are looking ahead to find out what their classes are, but the head wants it locked down until finalised. Our school portal is also picking up the info as it has a heartbeat with SIMS and so parents can browse ahead too... Is there any way of locking down access to the new timetable whilst maintaining access to the current one?

Do you need to send it through to SIMS before it's finished? If you've sent through a partial version that you want removed from SIMS you can make a copy of the TT so far, then save a dummy version with a different name, unschedule all the classes and send it through blank. Then send the real one through when it's finished and you're ready to show it to everyone.
