Smart Board Projector flickers with working bulb

Smartboard flickers when turned on. I tried another bulb that works on my co-worker's projector but that DID NOT fix the problem, still flickers even with a working bulb. The projectors are identical UF55. Opened up the projector and cleaned with compressedair but that did not solve issue either. Could it be a faulty color wheel?

We had a similar issue a few years ago. Ours turned out to be a badly made vga cable where it terminated to a wall port. Try connecting to the projector with a different cable.

Just exactly what I was going to say kjadams, I discovered the same situation a couple of days ago, brand new projector out the box which was an Epson, mounted it to the ceiling and connected it up, and it was flickering. So I put a VGA cable from a laptop directly to the projector and it was fine, it turns out the VGA cable in the ceiling was faulty.
