Fontayne56 Posted May 13, 2016 Posted May 13, 2016 So who's getting all the teacher's coming down to install there Exam marking software !! I don't get a bean for all this extra work ! aggrrhhh !!
Ketlane Posted May 13, 2016 Posted May 13, 2016 In principle they shouldn't be marking on school equipment....it's not part of their employment by the school.....but in practice...?
pete Posted May 13, 2016 Posted May 13, 2016 Our AUP has a very explicit "school equipment should not be used to run a private business" instruction. If you want to do work on the side, you do it on your own time using your own computer.
bossman Posted May 13, 2016 Posted May 13, 2016 Your marking which you have taken onboard as an extra income to do at "Home" therefore doesn't involve the services of the IT support department as it is not school related, Thank you! Now go away!
Fontayne56 Posted May 13, 2016 Author Posted May 13, 2016 So are there many people who support the software as our head is keen too ....
Sylv3r Posted May 13, 2016 Posted May 13, 2016 Nope - our staff are not allowed to carry out exam marking on either school PC's or laptops. We even get the odd cheeky member of staff asking to borrow a mouse as their laptop is too fiddly to do the marking on at home....
