Remove access to safe mode

Hello All,

 

I am hitting a bit of a brick wall here, a couple of students have figured out that they can get into the control panel etc (not actually cause any harm but still) by booting into safemode with networking. Has anyone found a way of disabling access to this through the registry or GPO at all, a lot of online doc refer to winXP or a pay for command line tool and I need to disable it for win7 64bit.

You could setup a password to access the BIOS but I appreciate this would have to be replicated across all of the PC's around the school which would be time consuming.

I did find a disable keyboard and mouse in safemode thingy but I haven't tried it - you could do it with gpp maybe?
