Anyone else seen or heard of this? Our accounts manager got an email through saying we can have our own re-branded search engine and get payed 1-2p per search.

 

Ive had a look and its just ask.com re-branded. Is it kosha?

Sure it's legal, but it's a touch brown - being paid to expose kids to ads.

Having said that, if the ads were more "kid targetted"... maybe thats a bonus.

 

Worth looking into. Will make sure guardian supports "safe search enforcement" on that as well as ask.

We use it here, I was instructed to set it as the home page for the kids and the staff instead of the school website.

 

Kids don't use it, they automatically type http://www.google.com into the address bar, so it's abit pointless really.
