Hector protector alternative?

A few of you may be familiar with a Dolphin called Hector Protector. I was interested to see if anyone would be interested in a new version of it with the CEOP shield instead. Hector feels a bit long in the tooth now and has a million dependencies causing issues with various machines on our network. Would anyone else want an alternitive and is there any suggested features that Hector Protector didn't have e.g. instant minimizing when the cover screen is closed etc. As you know there has been a lot of changes to the laws in schools around e-safety.

Hector's beauty is his simplicity. It's a little flash based screen saver that's all. He was designed simply to cover up the screen if a child saw something nasty so they could get help. The real beauty of Hector was the appeal and ease of use with very young children.

 

Hector is far from being multi-platform which is a weakness.

 

To be honest though, many settings have replaced Hector with "turn off the monitor" / "close the laptop" / "lock the iPad" which does the same job and, better still, is a message easily transferred to outside school... and from an eSafety/Safeguarding point of view is a better message.

It works fine on Windows 10...? It might be old, but still does the job.

I had a lot of issues with the DLL's not registering properly fro the Flash thing on the Virtual machines for some reason and I wanted the feature of minimising open things to fit with the new e-safety policy

 

Check it out see what you think requires no installation I just linked it from the network as it's small enough.
