Living in Kent for the last 20 years (i'm a Yorkshire ex-pat), I have become aware that we appear to share a gritter with Sussex and Essex. I'm not sure if it's KCC's turn to have it this weekend.

 

Hope not, I was hoping for a good excuse to avoid going to the in-laws in Buckinghamshire on Sunday!

As a kid of 6-9 in Connecticut I remember winters with snow deeper than I was tall (by quite a long way). I miss proper winters...

Would that mean that you could be sucked into the air to the place where the sucking is coming from? This opens a whole bag of scientific questions!
