elsiegee40 Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 Living in Kent for the last 20 years (i'm a Yorkshire ex-pat), I have become aware that we appear to share a gritter with Sussex and Essex. I'm not sure if it's KCC's turn to have it this weekend. Hope not, I was hoping for a good excuse to avoid going to the in-laws in Buckinghamshire on Sunday!
K.C.Leblanc Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 I'm not sure if it's KCC's turn to have it this weekend. I'm in Gloucestershire,

derer1 Posted January 30, 2008 Posted January 30, 2008 Want some of my snow? I've got a good few feet to spare....although this week has been warmer - daytime temperatures actually above 0C for a change

I miss proper winters...

steve Posted January 31, 2008 Posted January 31, 2008 Given absolute zero is −273.15 °C (0K) I think that's going to be some sort of record. Get out the salt .....
Gatt Posted January 31, 2008 Posted January 31, 2008 Wind -1 MPH... so does that mean its actually "sucking a gale "and not "blowing a gale"
localzuk Posted January 31, 2008 Posted January 31, 2008 Wind -1 MPH... so does that mean its actually "sucking a gale "and not "blowing a gale" Would that mean that you could be sucked into the air to the place where the sucking is coming from? This opens a whole bag of scientific questions!
