What I would like to do is be able to run ActivInspire on my Surface Pro 3 and then connected the surface to a projector via the Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter. The surface/project/display adapter works great. ActivInspire will not recognized the surface pro 3 Pen. I am running windows 10 and have tried an assortment of settings in ActivInspire and nothing seems to work. Suggestions? Should the pen work in ActivInspire?

in active inspire go to settings, then on the left it's the third one down then treat something as (first dropdown box) needs to change from select tool only to full touch support.

Secret option B - download the latest version (2.4?) that has it set as default!

Make sure you're running the latest or newer ActivInspire software too. The latest is now version 2.5.

Beat me to it!!

ActivInspire version: 2.5.66477

WinTab driver installed

All the latest Windows 10 drivers installed

Tried every setting for "Dual Mode ActivBoards" and none of them work. If I pick "Use Touch instead of ActivPen", when the surface pen touches the screen, I get a dot (if I am in pen mode) but it doesn't continue to work if you try to write/draw with it. Touch via finger works correctly.

I've came across this thread from google and was the reason to join the forum to post this reply if it may help you.

please check my post in the support forum at promethean website here

The latest version or ActivInspire 2.6 has a problem with many other hardwares and many reported this issue.

You are not alone hehehehe

I hope if they solve this issue and upgrade the software soon.

Try 2.5 if you have it or 2.4.

Hope this help.
