babatate Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 I want to make a SIMS population Analysis report that does pupil totals per House not per registration group. Any ideas how to achieve this, please? Many thanks in advance Barbara
PhilNeal Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 Grid analysis is a powerful way of doing this type of calculation. Its an output from the Report Generator.
vikpaw Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 Clone the existing population analysis, then you can add House as one of the fields. I'm pretty sure that's how we did it. Probably the same as using grid analysis, but saves the hard work, if you start from the built-in one and save as so you can modify.
neilenormal Posted March 8, 2016 Posted March 8, 2016 use the current pastoral structure if your access rights show it you? Members from a right click brings up numbers
babatate Posted March 8, 2016 Author Posted March 8, 2016 Thanks all - not only do I now have a couple of ways to do the analysis - but I also have a quick route for the Admin staff to make a quick decision on House allocations for new joiners!

LosOjos Posted March 9, 2016 Posted March 9, 2016 Great that you've got a couple of solutions, thought I'd chime in with one more very easy one: Reports > Student Analysis Reports All sorts of handy reports there! They're fixed (i.e. you can't edit them) but are a really quick easy way of getting at some common cohort breakdowns
