talksr Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 I attended an RM Seminar last week and one of the technical streams they were running was on LightSpeed which is very similar to Meraki. I have to say, I was pretty impressed with the features, and I am quite keen to find out if any EduGeek users have been using it and if anyone has any rough ideas on pricing as I can't find anything on their site. I did send them an enquiry, but I am waiting for a response. I would be looking to install this on our set of 26 iPads and potentially some of our Windows 10 computers.
SchoolsBroadband Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 It's great. We bundle it in with all of our services FOC year 1. 1
adamholt1 Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 We used it for past 2 years. Very simple and effective. Great product on the whole and relatively cheap in comparison to some other MDM solutions i looked into. Any other info you want let me know. 1

adamholt1 Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 Thanks for your quick reply. Sadly we are tied in for the next 4 years with LGFL Thanks, can you give me a rough idea on cost per device? We get charged at £5 a device. Depends how many devices though as I guess will drive the cost down. Think we paid for 60 licences at £5. Defiantly worth the cost! 1
snagrat Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 It's £5 per device and minimum buy in is 30 devices.
SchoolsBroadband Posted March 8, 2016 Posted March 8, 2016 RRP is £5 per device pa. However I can probably give you a bit of a discount Send me a PM if you'd like a quote Dave
PaulPierce8 Posted March 18, 2016 Posted March 18, 2016 We've been using Lightspeed MDM for the last few months for over 200 iPads, split into 12 groups. It has a fairly decent amount of policies you can apply to devices and we rarely have any trouble syncing them. I havent used any other MDM but the Lightspeed version is user friendly, and it wont be difficult to use, especially if its only for around 26 iPads.
