Novalee Posted March 2, 2016 Posted March 2, 2016 So one of our old HP 4200 is on its way out - after 15 years or more of service. It's a shame to replace it, as in my experience, newer printers just don't last like this one did. Can anyone recommend a sturdy printer, without crazy expensive toners, which would be a suitable for a computer suite of 31 computers? Thanks
SteveB_NI Posted March 2, 2016 Posted March 2, 2016 I recommend the HP602DN (maybe newer model out now!) - the duplex facility is a great feature for us. The toner cost is very low too for the high capacity remanufactured cartridges.
speckytecky Posted March 3, 2016 Posted March 3, 2016 My recommendation is The Brother MFP-9140CDN. Does the job very, very well. we have 3 now and the users love them. Bonus the cartridges are recyclable Freepost.
Chris_Cook Posted March 3, 2016 Posted March 3, 2016 How about a refurbished HP 4250 from ict-direct?
Fazza Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 We've been using http://www.athema.co.uk for refurbished HP printers - so far so good
