ozzy Posted January 24, 2008 Posted January 24, 2008 what do ya'll pay for site licence or open licence for this? we are still on office xp and the e learning credits are burning a hole in my pocket. cheers
mrforgetful Posted January 24, 2008 Posted January 24, 2008 We just buy them outright for about £31 each from Ramesys, though I think Pugh are quite cheap too.
greenfieldsupport Posted January 24, 2008 Posted January 24, 2008 We buy from Ramesys too, best deals from what ive seen
localzuk Posted January 24, 2008 Posted January 24, 2008 We paid £14.13 per license this year, for 183 licenses. And we use the Schools agreement. Also, you can't get office with eLCs as they are only for use on educational software.
Pete10141748 Posted January 24, 2008 Posted January 24, 2008 We've used Ramesys in the past for XP pro and Office licenses. They were good value, I'd recommend them (we are definately going to be using them again to get offce 2007 lisences soon!) Pete

You didn't get office on its own did you?

myeomans Posted January 24, 2008 Posted January 24, 2008 Ramesys have just put the price up to £32 for office and you can get the a Ramesys media copy for £10 or Microsoft copy for £25

That's good, I always felt immensly ripped off when they charged £20 for media and all you got was a crappy copied CD! Plus I like the holographic CDs that Microsoft do...
DMcCoy Posted January 24, 2008 Posted January 24, 2008 Yep, it worked out cheaper for us to break the bits down for some reason (or so we were told by our suppliers). It wasn't ramesys was it? The screwed mine up and did it as separate products too (not that that was what I ordered - it meant I was missing lots of stuff on the vol licensing page) What was the total cost (rough idea, don't need to be too specific ) Windows Upgrade Office Windows CAL Exchange CAL

The costs were: Windows - 10.52 Office Enterprise - 14.13 CAL - 1.23 So, 25.88 per machine. I got 3 quotes for the best solution and they came out best. However, I hadn't looked at Pugh, Academia or Ramesys then. So next year may be different! And we don't use exchange in school.
