NokiX Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 Very sad especially someone who did so much for charity as well.

Dos_Box Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 One of the few presenters of my parents generation I genuinely looked forwards to listening too. A sad day
Devontechie Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 BBC just posted the following video on their website - A look back at the humorous, colourful & wonderful life of Sir Terry Wogan 2
teejay Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 Sad loss, another one gone too soon from the big C. Always remember trying not to crash the car when the Janet and John stories were on, how he got away with those I'll never know. http://youtu.be/5tKnsZCELD4

googlemad Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 I've learnt quickly in the past few years that it is always the person you don't expect to die that dies first. Was worried about Bruce Forsyth as he seemed quite weak after his operation didn't even have Sir Terry on the radar! (And I didn't have a clue he had cancer!) RIP
ButterflyMoon Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 He was one of the few to make me laugh out loud. I drove in this morning roaring with laughter as they played another Janet and John on Chris Evans show. He always seemed a lovely genuine guy
localzuk Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 A great presenter. Was always mood lifting whenever he was on air or screen. Another big loss! There's gonna be a heck of a party going on up in heaven though!
mikeprice Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 Nearly crashed the car several times in the old days while driving to work and listening to him - especially Janet and John Heard his voice on Radio 2 this morning and I was back in the old days when he was on his Breakfast show Wonderful person and a great broadcaster
HarryMonkey Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 His Janet & John stories were priceless. A very poignant journey to work this morning with all of the clips being played by Chris Evans. He was a genius amongst broadcasters and will be sadly missed.
