Steve21 Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 Funny you ask that was Bossman who suggested looking at them yesterday too Would be interested to know if anyone has them too You got a supplier you're talking to about them? Can't see any that sell it from my normal lot Thanks, Steve 1
hyb80 Posted January 27, 2016 Author Posted January 27, 2016 Just getting early pricing at present through a company based in Manchester called Lima networks, part of a full refresh
bossman Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 @Steve21 This is who we would deal with: Vital Service – Making Information Secure Contact name Is Stephen Murphy, he could possibly give you a demo, I have seen a school that they did the implementation of Meraki switches and the software looks fantastic! 1
Steve21 Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 This is who we would deal with: Vital Service – Making Information Secure Thanks for that Aye was having a look through and looks great. Only bit which kind of worries me is whether there's a lack of options for bits, e.g. Core would either be a MS350 or MS4XX obviously being a lot of difference in price Wondering how the MS350 stacks up routing wise etc haha Will drop them a line Thanks, Steve 2
techspec123 Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 Have used the switches in the past and they work very well, visibility when combined with wireless solution as a whole is fantastic 2
Sylv3r Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 We purchased both Meraki switches and APs last year and I love it. Management of everything in a single interface is fantastic. I purchased via Softcat but I imagine most resellers can sort you out. 2
Wave9_Andy Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 Hi there - your wired forum sponsor here.... clearly not doing a great job of letting the EduGeek community know that we are a certified Meraki MSP with a specialism in education!!! We would be happy to look at this with you. We can put you in touch with customers who are 100% Meraki through Switching and Wireless or get one of our technical guys to have a chat with you / show you round the dashboard etc. You can find out a little more and look at a couple of case studies here You can also register to join a Meraki webinar via our site and receive a free AP. The next introduction to cloud networking demo is next Tuesday at 10AM. Happy to have an initial discussion with an EduGeek members if you are interested in finding out more. Cheers Andy 2

Gaz Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 Guys dont forget you can get trial units direct from Meraki who pay for shipping to and from. Also do the free webinars and get the free APs and Switch from that. Only thing stopping me from going #Fullstack is the price.
