jtaylorwork Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 Hi all Started as an exams officer in a school last week and have been tasked with doing exam entries in SIMS Examinations Module. I have followed the instructions in the help book found on the Sims website, however, when I try deleting a Series I get the following message Series has components instantiated under it Series has elements instantiated under it I have already deleted all the mark sheets out of it. Any help would be much appreciated - thanks in advance.
PhilNeal Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 Deleting a marksheet will not remove assessments which exist in their own right.
bobsmith Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 Why are you trying to delete the summer 2016 series anyway?
jtaylorwork Posted January 15, 2016 Author Posted January 15, 2016 Thanks Phil, however, there are no assessments associated with this series - all I did was set up two marksheets, under each series, and assign pupils. I did not upload them to the exam board, I then deleted them. According to the manual I should be able to delete the series however, I keep getting the two error message's up. I can't find any components or elements to remove. As far as I am aware there is nothing else associated with this series.
jtaylorwork Posted January 15, 2016 Author Posted January 15, 2016 There seems to be a problem with the basedata and I've been advised to start the series again
