[sims] Deploy to non-domain Windows 10 laptop

Hello!

 

We have a member of staff who uses a non-domain laptop within the school. I've always managed to install SOLUS and SIMS by instead of using DOMAIN\Username and password, their COMPUTERNAME\Username and password. However he has upgraded the laptop to WIndows 10 and linked it with his @live.com account. Now when I try to use the COMPUTERNAME\username and password it does not work. I've tried the old username and password (before windows 10), his email username and password and I cannot find a combination that allows me to install SOLUS.

 

Even if I try to browse his C drive I cannot access it. Does anyone know a way?

Could not set up a new admin user on the PC and use that?

The only way I know around this issue is setting up a local account on the laptop that has admin rights.
