Tough one... still pondering over it...

You have to favour the Pats over the Giants on paper (& form!) - Brady vs. Little Manning, Maroney vs. Jacobs/Bradshaw. The stats all point in the Pats favour, only with the WR do the Giants have the upperhand with Toomer/Buress vs. Moss. Eli isn't Peyton, he's not ready for the big game, not yet anyway, there's to much of the Grossman about him, & we know what happened there! Also compare 16-0 to 10-6...

Having said that... this is the NFL, and anything can happen, the NE bubble has to burst, it's the nature of the sport, you can't play at that level all the time, eventually, you're going to fall, and there's no greater stress than the SuperBowl, the Giants are the underdog, and they know it, the Pats are the favourite, and they know it, perhaps this will lead to the apple-cart being upset.

If for no reason than the interest of parity, nothing would give me greater pleasure than to see the Pats fall, especially to the (so called) lowly NFC opponent, but, if I had to pick right now, I don't think I can go against the professionalism of Brady...

The Pats to win 17-21...

(I reserve the right to change this right up until the opening kick-off! hehe)

Has to be the BBC for viewing... simply for Mike Carlson!!

i don't understand NFL at all, but as a sports fan, always stay up with a beer and family size bag of doritos and watch it!

I have picked the winner 3 years running.

My money is on the Patriots this year!

Hoping to take the monday off so I can recover from the game, would love the Giants winning, but I'm afraid that the cranial part of me thinks its going to the Patriots

It suprised the hell out of a lot of people here - it's armageddon here in Boston!

patriots - best team in history my ass.........montanas 49'ers have a much better claim to that title.

thrilling superbowl with amazing 4th quarter, great job by manning with that final drive to win the game for the giants. That escape from the sack and THAT catch in midfield on 3rd down was just the most amazing play

Haven't watched an nfl game since C4 stopped showing highlights and the superbowls in the late 80's.....but that game was like a throwback to some of the great matches of that era.

that game will have attracted some new fans for sure.

Surprised the beejesus out of me, I really didnt think that Eli was up for a superbowl match yet. Great game though, and to think some people claim NFL is boring !

A great SB! (I'm flippin' tired!) - Loved every minute.

I'm happy as well -I may have lost the pick, but the team I wanted to win, won. (Always pick against the team you want to win, unless it's clear-cut, that way, you've always got something to be happy about).

Shall be keeping a copy of this game - seeing Eli escape from that sack, amazing each time you watch it.

Never made it to Derby unfortunately - was supposed to go up Friday on the train, but there was a derailment at Barrow-upon-Soar, so nothing was getting through.

Ended up watching it at home.
