User getting multiple accepted meeting request notifications

Before I go escalating this to our 3rd line and asking the user questions myself

Been given a ticket where a user is sending out a meeting request to multiple users within the organization. Said meeting requests are accepted but instead of just getting one acceptance notification they're getting multiple from different users. See attached, different colour means the same user over and over, ignore the big orange bits I've got rid of.

Any idea? I'm inclined to think it might be some kind of sync/time issue where the most minuscule of differences is making it send itself over and over. Or something where multiple devices are being used?!?!

Thanks...

Are they using iOS to accept the meeting? There's bugs on there or was with this in the latest version that when you accept it via iOS (even once) it loops around and sends a few

Lemme try to find the post

Symptoms

The organizer of a meeting receives multiple meeting responses from an attendee. An analysis of the IIS logs shows multiple MeetingResponse commands from the user's device.

Cause

The attendee responded to the meeting by using an iOS 9.x device. Such a device sends multiple MeetingResponse commands to Exchange.

Status

Microsoft is researching this issue and will post more information in this article when the information becomes available. Customers who experience this issue should contact Apple for help.

Sounds like it might be the root cause of it. Is there any easy way I can find out from what device a user accepted the request? Edited by rickjames
