Africa Live: Shooting at hotel in Mali's capital - BBC News Hopefully this has a better ending then last Friday, interesting to see how much news coverage it gets.

Didn't notice this thread. Another terrible situation! Appears to be one of those groups again!

 

Really hoping they manage to release the rest with minimal loss of life.

Apparently they were only releasing people who could recite passages from the Koran.

bbc live feed is good, sounds like the situation is going suprisingly well, 3 terrorists killed and loads of hostages out, think its still ongoing though.
