mikkydoos Posted November 19, 2015 Posted November 19, 2015 (edited) Hi all, One of our teachers (bless him) update his trolley of Ipads to IOS9 against my advice (until everyone else catches up to it) Now on these Ipads, Meraki isn't installing apps. They show in the systems manager app, but when I hit download.... the icons sit there rotating and nothing is getting installed. Any ideas ? EDIT: If I go to the Apps Store, all my apps are there and I can download them from there. Note to self - is there a new Meraki Systems Manager App to include IOS9 MDM stuff ?? Zoom7000 Posted November 19, 2015 Posted November 19, 2015 I highly doubt iOS 9 is what has caused it to stop working. I updated my whole trolley of iPads to iOS 9 on release date and it went seamlessly. Have you tried checking in the iPads both through Meraki and through the app? Sync Apps? Sync Profile?

Done that. Same result.
RLR Posted November 20, 2015 Posted November 20, 2015 I could be wrong as we don't use Meraki but doesn't the free version of Merkai not support IOS9.

No, it does... albeit without the new IOS9 specific restrictions. https://meraki.cisco.com/blog/2015/09/new-strategic-partnership-and-immediate-support-for-ios-9/ Edited November 20, 2015 by mikkydoos

So I presume you have Apple ID's per iPad if you have been pushing out apps via Meraki? That blog is unclear whether the free version of Meraki supports apps pushed via Device Assignment so I doubt this is supported Edited November 20, 2015 by Brimstone
