[android app] Poor Performance on the OnePlus 2

Hello, the edugeek seems to have select moments where the app will complete lock up and the app will either asked to be forced closed or I will have to close it using the Android task manager.

 

Phone: OnePlus 2 - 64GB Model (EU)

 

(On the force close box I used the report button if that's any help to anyone)

 

Don't know if anyone else has had similar issues?

I will take a look when/if the report arrives, Play is pretty poor at reporting problems.

I get this sometimes on cynagonmod. Not one plus handset though.

I have just got my hands on a beta for the new version for both iOS and Android (not many major changes but there are some core changes)

Once I have put it through the initial testing I will post the link here and you can join the beta group and see if that helps at all.

When I try and join the group it says the following "

There is no Join link due to the group being set to private.

Should be fixed now, it appears some of the options had been changed from when I set the group up ages ago.

I don't seem to have any lockup issues on the new new version. But their does seem to some lag when scrolling though threads. When they are first loading but when all the avatars have finished loading the scrolling appears to be smooth again.

But I haven't had a chance to hammer the app yet, but will report back with issues when I find some.

Just installed the beta. I like the interface too. Big improvement for me is that the search facility works - never has on any versions of the apps for me.

Wow I was not aware search was still broken before. I use iOS currently as DD so I only run the Droid app for testing mostly.

There are still a few outstanding bugs but once they are fixed I will push out another update.
