speckytecky Posted November 10, 2015 Posted November 10, 2015 Our six year old DC running 32 bit standard edition Server 2008 refuses to allow me to log on coming up with a message: The requested operation cannot be completed because the terminal connection is currently busy processing a connect, disconnect, reset or delete operation. Any suggestions. I'm not keen on a hard reboot as we have a fair few clients logged on and working. Currently all services (DHCP, DNS, Print, file server etc seem to be running ok.
3s-gtech Posted November 10, 2015 Posted November 10, 2015 You may be able to log on to a workstation as a domain administrator, then do a shutdown -r -m \\servername -t 0 to reboot it. Obviously out of hours. Not tried it that way round myself, but it should work, so long as the account has sufficient access. 1
Steve21 Posted November 10, 2015 Posted November 10, 2015 Use Yet Another (Remote) Process Monitor (or another remote manager) to connect and kill the WinLogon exe Steve 1
