What are you going with enterprise or education?

Hi

Im just about to start my images for windows 10 and I was wondering what you guys have gone with?

I can see positives & negatives to both in terms of the way the new features are delived CB and LTSB. I am thinking Enterprise LTSB at the moment as my concern is the new features in Education may break something, but then there is more work re-doing images every so often to get Enterprise up to date with the new features.

Anyone got any thoughts on this?

Education here probably, that's what we are working with currently. You can delay feature updates by up to a year so there's no concerns about things breaking in my mind. At the end of the day they are going to be adding new features, not fundamentally changing the OS.

Building an image for Education at the moment. Can't see a reason to go with LTSB to be honest. We get a year to delay things and I think we will lose out on useful additions if we stay static.

We have already built and tested Windows 10 Enterprise x64 and will be moving forward with that edition for our campus. We will be using the same base Windows image for both instructional and administrative areas.

Education. Its all about rapid release. The image never stays static. Changes every month. Its the way SCCM is going as well. The main concern is poorly designed legacy software.
