Also sludge can be used in certain generators. I know how harvesting works. Sprinklers, and various other forms of acceleration.

 

I just don't have many materials (my quarrying is still quite early on), so until that gets me a decent supply of stuff, I'm somewhat limited with experimentation. But once my quarry and power generation can start working me my millions... there's going to be all sorts of crazy. Once I have the materials, I always do things far too big. I remember on an old server, I had a tree farm 4x4... chunks. It had to have it's own dedicated ME system

Doesn't the sludge generator pump out debuffs in an AOE, though? I just use a void fluid pipe to delete it

A very tiny AoE, which if I'm running an Agricultural side of tech, I normally have a "Barn" where I can keep the things I don't need to attend to. Either way, it's worth using just for the free power y'know?

Guess so. Didn't realise the AOE was small, when I read about it everyone was like "HAVE A DEDICATED ROOM FOR SLUDGE GENERATORS BECAUSE DEBUFFS" and I'm just like "Eh, effort. I'll just void pipe it off."

Unless it's been changed, it was like a 1-2block circle around it.. which only gives you poison and nausea I believe. Either way, keep it away from general traffic and you'll be fine, even bury it deep enough underground, run it straight back into your Harvester and it'll be almost self contained.

I have a betterbox that should be holding up to, I think, 6### hemp fibre, I think I counted it at needing 256 hemp fibre per upgraded windmill. Feel free to go help yourself, it should be near the 6k mark now

@Sephiroth, again, my witch grinder generates its own glowstone dust. Not dramatically quickly, but it's there. So feel free to venture into my basement if you're brave enough and take some if you need it. It's not like I use it for anything.

@LiamH I had need of wither skeleton bones however your base was in a state of neglect.

 

I unbunged your mob grinder. The chests were full. I've told it to throw away zombie flesh. I manually threw away some other junk. I took anything I thought I could use.

You also ran out of mob essence. I've turned the wither skeleton spawner off as it had been left running (probably by me).

I also fiddled with your computercraft powered mystcraft portal. It wasn't running on server start, so I've fixed that. However the books aren't cycling and I don't know why. I've left the server spawn book in as that takes you to a working portal anyway.

 

Yeah i haven't been on in a while, ill try log in tonight and fix it, at a guess the chunk loader will need ender pearls.

 

You found the cleaver in the chest by the wither spawner with 100% beheading right?

Yep. I'm often the same. I've ninja'd half a stack of feathers from @localzuk and other small items.. The largest thing I've been donated so far, I believe, is some stacks of Draconium when I was mining out the End once it got reset. I do need to finish crafting the rest of the Wyvern tools, and then I'll be happy to pass on what's left to anyone else.

 

Need more Nether Stars for that one, though, which is gonna take a while to get D: Need to start harvesting mob essence.

I've been given an Ender Quarry, 4 Ender Markers, and 4 Blocks of Copper. Everything else I've tried to trade /something/ for.

 

EDIT: Other than knowledge/help with setting something up, which I haven't had too much of. But I can't really pay for that since if they can help me, they've probably already done everything I'm doing. I'm really not used to being so far behind everyone on a minecraft server but my lodger took up alot of my time.

@LiamH I was after bones not heads. So I opted to use my own weaponary with higher damage. Oh I also borrowed your reinforced obsidion tower's basement to kill a few withers, the etheral glass kept getting blown out by the wither explosions though. You might want to fix that.

I made my own ender markers, but I did ninja Dleh's QED to do it lol.

Making the quarry was a bit of a ballache but I was determined to do that on my own. Turns out making enchantment books is easier than I thought it would be, thankfully.

 

the etheral glass kept getting blown out by the wither explosions though. You might want to fix that.

The white lights in there, do, too If they even still exist.

On another note, yet to find much in the way of gold/diamond

 

I have a metric buttload of gold spare. It's one of the few resources I found plenty of but haven't really used much. (The other being that blue dust stuff) Take a few blocks if you need.

 

Lightning rods are awkward because you need to build 9 lightning rod bases, and that takes a lot of Electrum and a decent amount of Steel. Thankfully you can make Electrum in the smeltery, which makes things a tad easier. But still pretty annoying, as Steel takes a long time and a lot of coal/charcoal/coal coke to craft

I have a regular, hole making quarry that you can have/borrow (whichever you fancy) if you want to automate a little bit of mining @bald_pig... I'm not even using it anymore since I have the Ender Quarry.
