Recommend me a school telephone supplier

Hi everyone.

 

Would you mind telling me who you get your schools telephone through. As our contract is due for renewal and would like to find someone who is possibly cheaper but must have good customer service.

 

We would be looking for a complete new system

 

Lines and call server system

 

We currently have a splicecom system that does the job but i would like to be able to find out who rung xyz number so we can monitor personal call usage by staff.

 

 

If you can spare a few mins to reccomend or slate your current supplier i would be most greatful.

 

Location is west yorkshire if it makes any difference.

We support our system in house, but bought all the kit from Phone systems, handsets, headsets, data cabling, maintenance and more from Extera.

 

Brilliant customer service, the guys were replying to e-mails at half 9 at night!

Do you get your lines from BT or is it all part of the deal.

We use Grapevine Communications.

Just over a year ago they put in VOIP to replace our ageing phone system. No issues so far. As to location You would have to talk to them about that, but I don't think that it would be an issue for them. They are based in Watford.

Our lines are now all run by Bistech for our school, they have taken them over from BT, excellent service and it all works well, if you want contact details in regard sales I can give you a name of our contact if you want to PM me, they will work with you and look at whats best for your school.

Complete AVAYA setup, managed predominantly in house, however maintenance contract with Charterhouse Voice and Data.

Couldn't recommend either highly enough!

We've been using a system provided by Diva Telecom based in Leeds for the last couple of years. I think we managed to strike a great deal, and the team in sales and support are all great in my experience.
