Hi there we have a package for our CC4 network, it installs perfectly fine, we are using Windows 7 Pro SP1 X64 machines, but the program itself will not run, the error show below:

i realise this version is no longer supported, but i'm hoping someone has managed to get around this? without having the buy a new version..

Hi, i have no idea, i did not create the package, was made well before i started working at this school.

 

all our computers are now x64 school.

 

i was going to repackage the software but when trying this on a freshly built x64 computer i got the same error.

but yes it did previously work on x86 computers.

Do you have a vanilla x64 computer and the original media? If so try a manual install if you get the same error on a vanilla workstation you stand no chance crating a working package for x64 workstations. If it succeeds I recon it should be possible. Let me know if you need help and I will do what I can.

You could do with upgrading to the latest version, I think we had 8.1 and it certainly caused a few odd glitches on Windows 7. We now have version 11 which has the added benefit of you can do a network share install so that no installation is actually required on client PCs.
