Kyle Posted January 16, 2006 Posted January 16, 2006 Is it possible that the news on the front page can have a RSS feed. I dont tend to go to the home page toooften and mainly concentrate on the forums. If it was possible to have RSS then i would pick them up in a newsreader.

eejit Posted February 17, 2006 Posted February 17, 2006 I use my.yahoo.com as my homepage (no flaming please - it's really handy for organizing links - honest!) and for some reason the edugeek rss feed can't get added. All the previous rss feeds I've added have a *.xml extension, but this one has a *.php one. Am I doing sonmething wrong or is Yahoo not using all the standards? cheers.

But lot they dont will set up .xml file later to day... russ

I've seen many pretty cool homepage portals (if that's what they're called) but the thought of re-typing in my 200+ bookmarks is very frightening.

When it all kicked off, I exported by bookmarks and spent an afternoon copying and pasting them on my del.icio.us account (bookmark sharing, in a nutshell), and never looked back. I can access them from home, work and away, and tagging things is so much more convenient than folders. I encourage people to give it a go, even if it does take a while in the outset to set it up.
