Impero Keyword Detection

Currently using impero all working, just trying to fine tune this "keyword detection" to be a bit more accurate.

 

Trying to get alerts for "obv" for example, but are getting notifications for everything "obviously" for example when we are only wanting "obv".

I have tried "_word" and "word_", seems the "word_" works out better and the "_word" will circle back to original issue..

 

Sorry if the explanation wasn't too great, but if any could get back to me would appreciate.

I'd definitely recommend getting in touch with [email protected] and ask for the keyword lists - should be a great start, and seeing how they've got them set up is a great indication of the best way to make your own...

 

They'll either send the lists for you to import them yourself, or remote on your Impero server and import them for you...

I suggest keyword side if trying to get just "obv" on its own then add a space so have *obv * or * obv*..

I had tried this before as mentioned in first post, but still was experiencing some issues with it.

We have just had the keywords installed by Impero.

 

I'm having the same issue, its way too sensitive having the wildcard *happy* if I edit this to *happy * then this does not work for Website Address / URL

 

Whats everyone else doing?

Any conclusions on this, in respect to tempering the sensitivity of Impero's word list alerts? A lot of false-positives here at the moment.

This is a very old thread and quite a bit has changed since the previous post....

 

What version are you on, and when did you last get the keyword lists from Impero? Well worth checking you've got the latest version of the software and lists... False positives have been dramatically reduced since September...
