Youthforce is expanding its offer to the education sector in the areas of apprenticeships and qualifications. Based within our training team you will be responsible for the design and delivery of ICT Apprenticeship programmes to young people employed in our partner schools.

Salary: £23,00-28,00 (per annum) dependent on qualifications & experience

Area: London (Based in Hove)

Key Responsibilities

 

• Lead on the design and development of ICT qualifications linked to apprenticeship frameworks
  
• Provide ongoing support to candidates from induction to completion
  
• Attend regular standardisation and team meetings
  
• Involvement in the development of Youthforce projects such as writing materials for new courses
  
• Marking of work using an e-portfolio system
  
• Assessment of candidates using a range of methods
  
• Adapting activities to suit the needs and individual circumstances of candidates
  
• Visit candidates in the workplace to assess and build professional relationships
  
• Work with other members of the team to ensure standardised practice and high standards
  
• Maintain records to standards expected by the internal verifier and awarding bodies
  
• Develop working relationships with our network of customers, ensuring excellent service and increased uptake of our apprenticeship offer
  
• Complete paperwork (e.g. enrolments, reviews and ILP’s) to the standard required by funding partners and Ofsted.
  
• Delivering professional development to large numbers of adult learners
  
• Undertake professional development in line with Youthforce and Institute for Learning guidelines
  
• To attend regular performance meetings
  
• Any other duties as requested by manager
