speckytecky Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 We have a network available printer Samsung CLP 680 ND that is set with a static IP Bursar and Reception desk to use, both have identical Dell Win 7 computers. The reception desk is always able to print to it but annoyingly on the Bursar's machine it comes up as Offline. Can't see any way of telling it it's not offline?
NB9457 Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 Have you uninstalled the printer from that machine completely and let it reinstall again? Are the printers set via script, GP or manually? 1
Oaktech Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 I used to get that a lot with CLP 620 machines and a combination of clearing the affected user's profile from the server and the machine and setting the driver to be the Samsung generic driver fixed it for us. 1
speckytecky Posted October 7, 2015 Author Posted October 7, 2015 Oh yea! At least twice. It's installed locally by IP address. Have you uninstalled the printer from that machine completely and let it reinstall again? Are the printers set via script, GP or manually?
