Logging multiple users in on the same account

Can anyone help me with this?

 

I currently have a "Pupil" user account that all the children use to log in to the laptops, this works fine up until the point that a class decides that they want have 30 children all logging in at once then everything grinds to a halt.

 

The pupil user is currently a Standard user account with a roaming profile, mapped drives and a Shared desktop assigned by group policy.

 

What's the best way to speed things up? I was thinking maybe a mandatory profile but I've never used one before and don't know if that would be the best option in this situation.

 

Any advice would be appreciated.

We use a single guest logon for some events, transition days etc. The key to it working well seems to be the mandatory profile it uses - same as all of our other students. There are massive numbers of guides around on how to create one - not that bad. There seem to be issues with them in Windows 10 though if you're using it. I've had no problems in 7 and 8.1.

We have some accounts like this, used for group testing. They are set up with mandatory profiles, no login scripts - drives and the like all mapped via GPP. Work fine. We've been using them heavily since the beginning of term for whole school testing.
