Money/Budgeting Software?

Hi,

 

Looking for a bit of software that I can import my statements into and get graphs etc on how much I spend on each area like fuel.

 

Anyone used something that can do this?

 

Hoping to get some nice visuals on what goes out to help save up.

Excel ? If your bank allows you to save statements its easy enough, there was an App people talked about a while back that managed finances too though the thread escapes me now.

Tried moneywiz on the iPad. It's ok but has no way to automatically set budgets on purchases. Also tried home budget. This was brill but not compatible with the downloads my bank gives.

 

I've seen Microsoft money sunset but can't seem to get any good info on it

Looks pretty good. Currently £30? Wonder how often it goes on sale. Is a bit weird that it's on steam.

 

As long as it's easy to switch between pic and mobile app then it could be a winner.

Goes on sale almost every time steam does a sale, so every 3 months or so.

 

I believe I picked it up for a fiver some years ago, it's good but you need to keep using it to get anything meaningful out of it.

To jump in on this, does anyone know of a free bit of software to run on Windows 10?

I use MS Money sunset edition. I import transactions as an ofx file from my online banking etc. There was a small registry back needed when win 10 first came out as it looked for ie6. I'm told this isn't the case anymore and it just works but I patched so can't say.
