Strange Papercut behaviour since last week ???

Hey all,

 

Wondering if anyone has experienced this... I'm scratching my head here !

 

Bunch of new PC's went in over the summer. All set up with a nice new software image.

 

They've been running fine for a couple of weeks but last week, for quite a few users - all using the new machines - the 'virtual' printer disappeared and the Papercut MF Client doesn't start on log in.

 

I've had to re-add the printer and manually open the client from the program menu. Then everything works like it should.

 

Its only happening on these new machines (all in the same OU - printer deployed per user from Server 2012.

The same user working on their laptop - works as normal - no problem.

 

One thing I was getting on a few of them during the summer was that group policy failed for 'Computer Configuration' only. --> 'The network was not started or not present' error.

 

Only other GPO changes I've made since then is deploying Chrome and the ADMX templates.

 

 

Am I missing something obvious here ?

I think I just answered this myself above....

 

There is a GPO that I've got set to launch the client upon login.... its obviously not applying the GPO.

 

Back to that then ..... !!!!!!
