newpersn Posted August 29, 2015 Posted August 29, 2015 Im looking at my optations for my upgrade next month. I'm looking at trying a windows phone. Whats the best windows phone out at the moment?
rrrrr Posted August 29, 2015 Posted August 29, 2015 They have 2 new flagships out due this october that will be running wm10. They are called the 940 & 940xl. I would wait until then If you cannot wait its either the 930 or if you can find one on ebay, the 1520 is a good phone. No carriers sell the 1520 any more though
hailstorm Posted August 29, 2015 Posted August 29, 2015 I've got the 640 as a backup/work phone. It's a great phone for the money, about £100 to buy on payg. Good way of testing out Windows Phone.
Arthur Posted August 29, 2015 Posted August 29, 2015 (edited) @newpersn. If you want to use the new Continuum feature in Windows 10 Mobile you will need the Lumia 950 or 950XL phones that @rrrrr mentioned above since it won't work on older Windows Phones. www.neowin.net/news/poll-what-do-you-think-of-microsofts-upcoming-lumia-phones http://i.imgur.com/xG8R3AD.jpg Edited August 29, 2015 by Arthur
newpersn Posted August 29, 2015 Author Posted August 29, 2015 I'm due an upgrade end of next month. My dad has the 930 I like that. But ee and carphone warehouse don't stock them. I see the the 830 and I kinda like that. 16gb storage with sd slot.
plexer Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 I have an 830 and it's a great phone but get a decent case for it as the frame gets scratched, dented and damaged just by looking at it. Ben 1
FN-GM Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 I have a Lumia 930 for my work phone. Its a good phone, however its a little bulky compared to the iPhone. The device itself is really good and pretty cheap compared to other phones. 1

john Posted September 1, 2015 Posted September 1, 2015 I have the 930 and love it had the 920 before it and yes its a little larger and more square but very nice. Work wise we are rolling out 640s to lots of people, the one office that has them already is very pleased with them already which is good news
