How do I copy my Drivers from my PC?

Hi,

 

Backstory: We bought a selection of new PCs, all of which have not been on our network before. I need to add the drivers for the hardware in the PCs to the network so I can build a WinPE build disk. (only need the network card driver though...)

 

PC model: HP Z200

Network Card: Intel 82578DM Gigabit Network Connection

 

I've been told by a colleage that I only need the .inf file to do this? I've downloaded network drivers from the HP website and from the Intel website where I then extracted the .inf from the .exe files using 7-zip... but its just not going well...

 

Each PC has came with windows 7 installed by default - is there a way that I can just extract the .inf file for the network card from these windows 7 builds with all drivers still on there?

Double Driver is what you need. Am sure every here agrees its one of the best applications for backing up computer drivers. Link is below:

Windows installs a copy of the drivers to the following folder so you could check that. Sort the folders by the modified date to find the latest drivers.

Both links for doubledriver are dead (dropbox and ubuntu one) on that site...but manged to find a download on techspot..

Why dont you just go to the HP site and grab the latest drivers instead of grabbing possible old drivers from a PC, HP Link:
