Web sites refusing to run despite latest Adobe Flash being applied

Our Art teacher complained this morning that several of the web sites she uses refuse to run claiming Flash needs upgrading. Latest version of Flash has already been applied? Any suggestions please. Example of the type of www that refuses is Grafiti Creator.

You need to clear any trace of flash, remove the reg key and anything in appdata. Reboot and try the install again. A Google search will tell you which regkey.

You could also check flash security settings in control panel.

Erm I think he is talking about Mac/OSX/Safari (Mac Forum) not Windows in this case :) Thanks for the tips anyway.

Not sure if you have applied it when you say latest etc but there was a new flash released early last week for MACs - Adobe Flash Player updates available for OS X on July 15, 2015

Can always allow certain websites to run the "cough" older "cough" version if you just need one website to work: https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT202819 "Run in unsafe mode"

Updates are great aren't they! We all understand the need but teaching staff and indeed sometimes at the chalk face find it pretty frustrating when the update ends up in a flubar situation.

Aside this current Flash player fun and games the latest Mozilla seemingly brought a load of grief - can't access my Procurve consoles now because the Java plug in isn't playing. Tried all sorts especially from the really useful input from the folk on this Forum.

That's me done till the 1st of September now - or at least I think it is! Hopefully these two issues will have been resolved by the time I go back.

I faced same problem with Mozilla browser.. but later read a new that Firefox has globally blocked Flash plays for security reasons.
