OK after reading this thread it inspired me to make one for my son's 5th Birthday, its not for 3 weeks but I have nearly completed it.........

Currently planning something like this for myself, but I expect to it to come in more costly than a simple PI build

 

Planning on an old Initial D racing cab, so sourcing parts for an old Niomi 2 machine is on my todo list.
