I have no links with this employer, apart from the fact I live in Cornwall:

Senior IT Technician

Salary: £17,514 - £22,212 per annum

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced IT Technician to join the newly formed Peninsula Learning Trust. We are an educational charity based in the St Austell area currently formed of four academy schools and growing to six from September and the possibility for more joining in 2016. There will be close to 3,000 students educated across our six schools and around 450 staff. The values of the Trust are reflected in the way that we work and the environment we provide for employees:

Schools get better by working together

Every school has its own unique character

All the schools lie within 30 minutes travel time of each other - we serve a distinct geographical region based in St Austell

This is a new post within a well-established team providing first class customer service and IT support to a range of different customers throughout the St Austell area.

This post will be mobile between sites so a full clean driving license is essential, a works van will be available for Departmental use.

I used to work at a school very close to Penrice, and am still fairly local.

Penrice themselves are a 1:1 iPad site with Apple RTC status, and their IT team has been completely transformed over the last few years. Should be a very nice base to work which has a great atmosphere.

(Can't comment on the other schools in the Trust as I'm not aware who they are - I'm in a completely different school/trust!)
