northeast_technician Posted June 29, 2015 Posted June 29, 2015 Hello, I have been asked to create a digital notice board in the staff room listing events taking place that day and any notices relevant to staff, currently we have share point in school where our school diary lives. Of course I don't want to duplicate data in case someone doesn't add the right thing to the right place also giving people extra work to do. what do you suggest is the best way to do this. I know what i need on the hardware side, just the software side wanting advice on. thanks

Or if you want to get snazzy, do the RSS feed, pull it into the dataset with a SQL filter applied for only those dates you want, and then use the dataset rather than the RSS feed in Xibo Steve

Divaldo Posted July 6, 2015 Posted July 6, 2015 xibo here too, with an RSS feed from SharePoint. We're using Kerberos authentication with SharePoint, auto-logging on to Windows on the Xibo player with a domain account and have added the SharePoint URL to the proxy exceptions and it works fine.
