Dual Monitor Help

I've got an AMD Radeon 7470 graphics card and I'm trying to run two Dell monitors using a DVI and a DVI to display port adapter. This has been working for years, but I recently moved and it is not recognizing the second monitor (the one using the display port). It gives me the error message (paraphrased), "This computer has an add-in graphics card, but the monitor is plugged into the integrated video connector." It then tells me to power down, plug the monitor into the add-in graphics card, and reboot.

 

Any ideas what happened from the last time I turned my computer off to now that would keep it from recognizing my second monitor?

Has the driver decided to update? Or the adapter could have failed. What happens if you swap the monitors?

If I swap, it does the same thing on the other side. Is it possible my graphics card got jostled out through the packing process?

Totally missed the "recently moved" bit! Definitely worth trying to reseat the card.

Out of curiosity, have you checked to make sure you're definitely plugged into the 7470 and not the onboard? I've stupidly done this a few times when not realising that a machine has had an add-in card

The 7470 will be in the "expansion card" part of your PC and look a bit like:
