Network Engineer - Huddersfield/West Yorkshire - £18,000-24,000

Morning all,

 

We're looking to expand our school support team, providing first class support for all ICT hardware, software and systems across a variety of platforms and operating systems, mainly within Kirklees primary schools. Applications are encouraged from candidates from an educational background. You will be mainly supporting primary schools and must have a good attitude towards working with children.

 

Applicants must have good experience in:

Server 2003, 2008 & 2012 operating systems

Windows XP, 7, 8 and Microsoft Office software

Administration and troubleshooting of Active directory

Administration and troubleshooting of Group policy

Good understanding of DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP

 

You will:

- Be highly motivated with a can-do attitude

- Have relevant experience (in schools preferably!)

- Be willing to undertake further training as necessary

- Have excellent communication/interpersonal skills

You will need to be CRB checked before working on school premises.

Standard working hours will be 38 hours a week Monday to Friday and may occasionally require overtime.

Applicants must have a full UK driving licence and own transport.

Salary £18,000 - £24,000 (depending on experience & technical knowledge)
