Just wondering if anybody has been experiencing flash issues with IE since Microsoft rolled out a load of updates last week, we seem to have had a lot. I am wondering now if it is just us, seems to be possibly a change in permissions as my admin account works perfectly fine, but my test teacher account now wont play flash objects. Tested both accounts on different machines all with the same results, i am, a bit baffled now.

We had a problem where flash couldn't tell what version it had on it, had to uninstall flash with the flash uninstaller and install the newest version, seemed to sort it out but had to do it on a lot of computers

if I log onto a machine with admin, no problems. log in as teacher and flash doesn't work, if I go and test flash at adobe , it tells me its all there and installed and it is the right version number, just doesn't work and I get a reply such as flash needed go here and install. Doing my head in now, not sure what to look at next, im currently doing updates on the machine to see if it has been a failed update that is causing the issue.

Same problem we had here, use the official flash uninstall from their website not from 'add or remove programmes' and re-install it and see if it works then.

I think I sorted it, haven't heard any bad news yet, in the ebd u had to use the removal tool, and remove all the registry entries, when I installed the latest version it worked fine.
