GPO's and Software Removal

Not entirely sure where to put this but Im on 2012 so here goes:

I've just come back to working in a small Windows environment from a large cluster Linux environment. I'm now the single point of support for a 100user domain. I've used GPO plenty but only needed to do it individually for VClients and remote access machines so it would only effect one box so please bare with me

 

The previous admin has deployed TeamViewer via GPO using an MSi and appears to have deployed it to EVERYTHING including Servers. Can I just disable the GPO? Then look at removing it from the machines? Or do I need to look at removing the application first?

 

All other software apart from Office has just been deployed manually per machine.

You can stop further installations by deleting the assigned application, it will give you the choice of uninstalling or prevent new installations. If you choose the latter you can manually remove it at your leisure.

2 options when you remove the .msi from the GP object.

Remove

 

Remove will uninstall during next startup providing the source install files are still in their original location
