Hi,

I'm making a simple spelling test quiz in PowerPoint using hyperlinks to pages with right and wrong statements on them according to what answer the children click on to. Nothing too complicated there but is there a way to keep a score of the number of correct answers the child does?

Also, is there a way to disable the next slide, previous slide etc. option icons in the bottom left hand corner?

Thanks.

Looked at that, the example gives you a small box with a grade in it, I'm doing this for SEN pupils so need a full page with pupils grade in it.

Can't help with the score thing, but to disable next page buttons etc. if you go to:

SLIDE SHOW > Set up Slide Show

Then under Show type click "Browsed at Kiosk"

I've embedded a PowerPoint presentation but is there anyway that the viewer can't see the outside frame with all the text around it?

All the edit powerpoint, start slideshow, print to pdf etc. can that be hidden?

I know it's hard to visualise without an image but I just want the powerpoint as though it were just the powerpoint presentation and none of the details around the frame.

Thanks

Doh!

Done it, used an Iframe and worked it out BUUUT, how do I remove the grey ribbon that's below the Powerpoint presentation? the one that says < Slide 1 of 56 > ?

I might not be understanding correctly, but do you mean that when you open the PowerPoint you want it to go directly to the fullscreen show?

If so all you need to do is do a file save as and change the file type to a PowerPoint Show. If you then open that file from File Explorer it will open up in fullscreen slide show...?

Seen a few samples with a grey window with the score on it but I need one with a whole screen with the pupils score on it.

I know it's something to do with Visual Basic and macros but totally unfamiliar with that thing. Will just perceiver with Googling but if anyone does know how to do one, that'd be great or can send me a sample ppt that'd be awesome. Thanks

Did one as part of my degree, millionaire type quiz with all the options, ask a friend, keep score, load questions from external config files, export scores etc etc but to be honest it was VB with PPT added on in the end, you end up doing so much VBA to get it to do what you want. I ended up re writing it (actually exported most of the code from PPT to VB). Would have had no problem sending you a copy but one of the mistakes of my life is that I have somehow lost all my work from Uni, usual case of thought I had a copy of everything on DVD until I came to want some of it...and its not anywhere! Think I had some old copies somewhere, If I do I'll gladly pass it on in case its any help but as I said you'll probably end up doing it in VB or similar.

TechSupp,

that's great, many thanks, that'll really help the pupils with revision. If you do find it that'd be excellent. It's really just the score options that I need but what you've suggested sounds amazing. Many thanks, I've PMed you with my school email, if you do find it and can send it'd really be appreciated.
