But I've just introduced the SIMS Teacher App as an alternative to using SIMS Learning Gateway for registers, mark sheets and behaviour and the staff love it! So simple and easy to use. A little slow to load in some respects but once it's cached all the student photos it feels much quicker. Once the next update comes out and hopefully brings the pin lock instead of having to log in with a username and password each time that should make things much more efficient too. 1

I disagree with people forcing you to use a PIN lock. Not only do you have a PIN for the device you have one for the App. If other apps did it, would be a nightmare!

Teachers could use this on a personal device where you can't enforce a device pin. There you most definitely want them to either have a pin or a log in. Pin is easier for use than a username and password...

Your not forced to use it.

Not enforce it. That way for people who secure devices properly and not faffing around with more codes that are nothing but an inconvenience to them.

Other suppliers would have been smashed with mod stick for advertising, even truly independent folk have been smashed - @GREED - before any disagrees, he works for GroupCall, they don't care what MIS you have, the only exception would be SIMS Teacher App or InTouch, but I haven't seen him blogging about either of them!! Wouldn't be surprised if money has traded hands, not that anything is wrong with that - everyone's got bills to pay. 1
