It looks pretty much the same specification as Argos' own-brand tablet, a review of which is here: Bush MyTablet 8 - the £100 Windows tablet | PC Pro If you just want something for Office and web browsing, it should do very nicly - actually, if you want a year's subscription to Office 365 it's cheaper to buy one of these tablets with a year's subscription included.
sted Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 well the lynx 10 is a pile of insert expletive set up 18 of them and it took forever just to install office and sophos and the wireless is pants some need rebooting fairly regularly or they just get limited connection/deny all knowledge of the wifi

ICTDirect_Dave Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 They're pretty decent for home use. The Missus has the Linx 7. Nice screen, nice feel. Runs 8.1 no problem, everything runs quickly, videos work just fine, office 365 subscription is a nice touch. Overall, very good value. Not sure about putting them into production on a networked environment though.

Crumpet Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 I'd say 2GB RAM should be a minimum. I tested a Lynx 7 and 10 recently and the was a noticeable difference between the two in terms of how fluid the OS was on the 10.
