If staff start installing Office Pro Plus on their devices, they'll potentially be syncing data on personal devices using OneDrive...thus losing control...

 

Can we take control of this? What do we think?

Yes, but even without this, it is all too easy to install the OneDrive for Business app and automatically sync their files... I know this should eb controlled with policy, but I wondered if anyone else had considered it...

there is a setting within office 2013 to remove save to onedrive (Im sure then that this could be done via GP), also under the admin section of the Office365 tenant > Service Settings > User software > Software for PC, there is a customise link that you may be able to remove this option from the home installable option too (although I haven't tried it)
