ranj Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 The True* Origin Story of the New MacBook | WIRED Turn it up loud. By the end tears were rolling down my cheeks. 1
fairm010 Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 Best thing I have laughed at in a long time! *Goes and works on 2011 MacBook Air*
Quackers Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 I don't get it, i laugh at very wrong things, sick even by some peoples standards, but this i just don't find funny, its not even accurate. It has a USB - C port...... Its just not funny.

It has a USB - C port...... Its just not funny. Its funny because its fake, its like the Adolph rant video's, someone just changed the subtitles. *that's my take anyway*
synaesthesia Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 The laughter is infectious which is the funniest bit
LosOjos Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 I don't get it, i laugh at very wrong things, sick even by some peoples standards, but this i just don't find funny, its not even accurate. It has a USB - C port...... Its just not funny. It has a single USB-C port which is to be used for charging, connecting displays, connecting devices (that don't exist yet or are abhorrently expensive due to 'early adopter tax') - the joke is you won't be able to connect any of your existing devices as it contains no compatible USB ports. But it's much funnier if you take your Apple defense hat off first

But it's much funnier if you take your Apple defense hat off first slightly in their defence in 2-3 years time it will probably be standard (infact my first windows tablet is like this the usb2 port is the charging port (or vise versa)) if you can as ive seen also say plug in a mains powered screen and let that power the laptop while the laptop outputs to the screen it seems that in the future its a sensible aproach as you could use the monitor (or other dock like device) to plug all your usb and charging stuff in with one plug and being a standard no more £60+ psus just a standard usb cable

LosOjos Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 isnt 3.1 as long as you have a cable? again my tablet needed a cable to use a normal usb say pen drive If you have an adapter yeah (part of the joke) - but USB1/2/3 is exactly the same connector and backwards compatible, the issue here is that although still called USB, it's a completely different connection to old USB cables. Ifyou needed an adapter for your tablet, it's not because it was USB2, it's because it was mini/micro

Ifyou needed an adapter for your tablet, it's not because it was USB2, it's because it was mini/micro true still in the longrun as much as i hate to say it it may be the way to go though granted if i were apple id of shoved a normal 3.0 socket on tehre but then they couldnt sell you the adapter. but what can you expect this from a company that thinks the back is a good place for a power switch rather than the front where you can actually use it ditto to usb ports on imacs/mini macs i could really use one on the front where i can see it to put in a pen drive hide most behind by all means for junk thats always there but one at the front would be useful if intel can do it on a nuc thats smaller you can too lol
Arthur Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 It's funny because it's fake The original Spanish video is quite funny too (especially after the 4:00 minute mark).
Arthur Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 Same video as the one used for the gtx 970 ... and lots of other videos. "El Risitas" Interview Parodies « Know Your Meme
Garacesh Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 Same video as the one used for the gtx 970 ... and lots of other videos. "El Risitas" Interview Parodies « Know Your Meme Yup. Remember the Hitler rant videos from.. Some movie whose title I don't remember? How a lot of those were done from the customer's point of view? Well these are all done from the corporate point of view. I love them xD Seem them about Valve and OVERKILL primarily, but they're great.

The Hitler clips were from Downfall, 2004, a German film about the last days of the war (Der Untergang auf Deutsch). The Xbox Live video was the classic there, I reckon.
fairm010 Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 Had to be posted again. The best Hitler reacts video ever! 1
